Don’t throw away your panty hose!

Caring for your toilet

Here’s a great list of the top ten ways to care for your toilet.  Early warning signs discovered by you and reported to our maintenance team can save a headache or two.  Tips like checking inside the water tank occasionally to see if the water level is normal, which could mean a leak is occurring. Don’t flush objects other that tissue down your toilet (the number one reason we are called out to a clogged toilet).  Help us by keeping an eye out so that we can prevent a problem.

Tools are for renters too!

If it’s your first time renting or you have been doing it for years, it’s always good to have a starter tool box with just the necessities.  But what exactly are they?   Hammer, screw driver, wrench, are all familiar tools but how about safety glasses, utility knife and duct tape?  And everyone needs a stud finder, right?  I think the list of tools to have on this link is excessive however it’s good to give it a once over.

Self-Cleaning Ovens need love too!

There is nothing nicer than a self-cleaning oven but there are still some rules to follow.  Take a look at this link on how to care for your oven such as whether to leave the racks in or not, never use chemical oven cleaners in the oven, and don’t clean the gasket with anything.   And do not try to force the oven to unlock until it has properly cooled off,  a popular work order for us.
